MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested following a reported home burglary in Moreau, according to New York State Police. Deborah Moses (58, Moreau) and Justin Pardick (40, Wilton) each face multiple charges. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! On Monday, around 5:43 p.m., troopers responded to a home on Hilton Drive in Moreau for a reported burglary in progress. While on their way to the scene, law enforcement was advised the suspects had fled in a car. Troopers eventually found the car on State Route 9 in Ganesvoort and pulled them over. While pulled over, police say they identified the driver as Pardick and the passenger as Moses. Moses was allegedly in possession of multiple controlled substances. SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three Utica men have pleaded not guilty in connection with an officer-involved shooting in Saratoga Springs. Alexander Colon, Christopher Castillo and Darius Wright are each charged with third-degree attempted assault. Police say they were allegedly involved in a fight with Vito Caselnova that quickly evolved into a shooting last November. According to police, once they arrived on scene, they told the men to drop their guns. Caselnova allegedly did not drop his gun, police then fired several shots. Caselnova, a Sheriff's Deputy in Rutland County, was indicted and arraigned last month. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The state of Missouri will begin accepting applications from certain small businesses interested in selling cannabis earlier than expected.The Department of Health and Senior Services announced the application window for the first round of microbusiness licenses will be from July 27 to August 10, 2023. ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Monday was the end of the 21-day deadline set by the EPA for the water contamination crisis in the City of St. Charles.St. Charles is at odds with Ameren over the issue. EPA directed the two sides to reach an access agreement to city property that would allow Ameren to address groundwater contamination from the Huster Road Substation.St. Charles Mayor Dan Borgmeyer said St. Charles and Ameren representatives met on Monday, but no agreement was reached."We're sitting down at the table with this supposedly shortly and negotiating, but that's still a long way away," Borgmeyer said. DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. - The Daviess County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol are investigating human remains found. The highway patrol said a mushroom hunter found the remains Friday night on private property in rural Daviess County, northeast of the Kansas City metro. The remains have not been identified at this time.
