ST. LOUIS - If you're looking for ways to beat the heat with the family then Union Station has a new exhibit highlighting the former train station's history. Guests enter a train ticket lobby and move into a series of themed rooms. Rooms range from a mirrored infinity view, and a train caboose that turns users into giant and small figures, to a room that transports visitors from real-life color to old-time black and white. Scenes filled with giant passenger luggage, optically fascinating clocks and even the Gateway Arch are part of the experience. (KRON) -- Windy conditions on Saturday led to several water rescues across the San Francisco Bay Area, according to officials with the San Francisco Fire Department. Several kayakers were rescued from the water near Mission Bay on Saturday afternoon, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Hwy-1 SB lanes closed due to traffic accident Around 1 p.m., five kayakers were rescued by an SFFD boat near near Barry Bonds Jr. Giants Field, a tee ball field just across the water from Oracle Park. Another two kayakers were pulled from the water by crew members of a local fishing vessel. SFFD later said a total of eight victims were rescued. Two adults and six children were involved. The children ranged in age from 11 to 15 years old. (KRON) -- A portion of Dolores Street was closed near Dolores Park on Saturday evening, according to the San Francisco Police Department. 12 people rescued by water in separate incidents due to high winds near San Francisco Dolores Street was closed to all pedestrian and vehicle traffic between 18th and 21st streets. The closure is expected to last from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., police said. No further details were shared. Police said an update will be shared when the roadway has reopened. A Baltimore, Maryland, man was fatally shot inside a downtown Silver Spring parking garage early Saturday morning, according to Montgomery County police.Police confirmed that the victim was 21-year-old Kymani Elijah Bailey.Shortly after 2:30 a.m., police responded to numerous calls of shots fired inside Public Parking Garage 3, near Thayer and Silver Spring Avenues.Upon arrival, they found Bailey with an apparent gunshot wound on the first level of the parking garage, who was later pronounced dead.According to a police investigation, Bailey was walking inside the parking garage after he left a restaurant when an unknown suspect came up to him and started shooting.Police said it’s too soon to provide information about the suspect.
