OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- A driver was killed in a rollover crash Sunday in Oceanside, authorities said.The collision occurred around 5:28 p.m. on Oceanside Blvd and Vine St, the Oceanside Police Department confirmed with FOX 5.Police say the vehicle veered off the roadway and went up a dirt hill. 3-year-old boy ejected in I-8 crash; driver arrested on suspicion of DUI The man who died in the crash was the only person involved, per OPD.As of 6:59 p.m., there is a road closure at westbound Oceanside Blvd at Vine St and eastbound Oceanside Blvd at South Ditmar St, according to law enforcement. One person has died following a stabbing in the Yonge Street and Hendon Avenue area, near Finch subway station, on Sunday night.Police responded to reports at approximately 9:58 pm of a stabbing in the area.On scene, police located a male in 20’s with a stab wound who was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.Later police updated that the male was pronounced deceased at the hospital.The homicide unit has taken over the investigation are those in the area should expect road closures.Sunday night forecast: Mostly cloudy & chance of showers

CHICAGO — University officials say two DePaul students were involved in separate robberies overnight.According to the university, the robberies happened between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. on the Lincoln Park campus.According to a news release sent out by the university on Sunday, the robberies happened at the quad near West Belden Avenue and North Seminary Avenue, and at the intersection of West Belden Avenue and North Racine Avenue. During one of the robberies, an offender pulled out a weapon and hit a student with it. LOS ANGELES (AP) — Union leaders and Hollywood studios reached a tentative agreement Sunday to end a historic screenwriters strike after nearly five months, though no deal is yet in the works for striking actors. AUSTIN (KXAN) — Stopped at a red light near Austin Community College, Jinous Rouhani says she narrowly avoided having her car hit by a driverless Cruise vehicle.“The Cruise car turned onto Rio Grande and it was so close to hitting my car,” she said. “I closed my eyes and just knew it was imminent but luckily it missed me.”The Pemberton Heights resident says the driverless vehicles have caused congestion in her neighborhood at night.
