Triple shooting in Pacific; suspect in custody

PACIFIC, Mo. - One person is facing charges in Franklin and St. Louis counties in connection with a triple shooting in Pacific late Saturday evening.The shooting happened just before 10:25 p.m. in the 200 block of South Columbus Street, according to Col. Scott Melies, Pacific Chief of Police.Pacific police officers and Franklin County sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene and found two gunshot victims in a grassy area. LOS ANGELES — Suzanne Somers, the effervescent blonde actor known for playing Chrissy Snow on the television show “Three’s Company” as well as her business endeavors, has died. She was 76.Somers had breast cancer for over 23 years and died Sunday morning, her family said in a statement provided by her longtime publicist R. Couri Hay. Iconic actress Suzanne Somers has died of cancer just one day shy of her 77th birthday, her publicist confirmed to Page Six. Somers, known for her roles in the sitcoms “Three’s Company” and “Step by Step,” had been battling breast cancer for over 23 years. A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck near Ojai Sunday afternoon. The temblor was recorded at 12:52 p.m. and was centered about 10 miles northeast of Ojai and about 15 miles north-northwest of Santa Paula, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake struck at a depth of about 6 miles, according to the USGS event page. Although the temblor was almost 10 miles from Ojai some residents did report feeling it, according to a USGS interactive map.
