CHICAGO — A person is in custody after breaking three windows at Governor JB Pritzker's Chicago residence, according to Illinois State Police.The incident happened around 9:40 a.m. Monday at the governor's home in the Gold Coast. Troopers on the Governor’s Executive Protection Unit responded to a disturbance at the residence and searched the area with Chicago police.Police located and arrested the suspect who allegedly threw rocks at Pritzker's home, breaking three windows.Both the Governor and First Lady were home at the time, but no one was injured. 3 robberies involving rifles conducted in 15 minutes on NW Side, West Loop The investigation is ongoing and the suspect remains in custody. AUSTIN (KXAN) — The City of Austin's Human Resources Department will host a free job fair Tuesday.The fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City of Austin Permitting and Development Center. The center is located at 6310 Wilhelmina Delco Drive in central Austin.According to the city, people from city departments and local businesses will be at the fair looking to hire people from all backgrounds. COBLESKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Cobleskill man was arrested after attacking someone with a hammer after breaking into their apartment, according to the New York State Police. On Wednesday, October 4, police responded to a home on Spring Street in Cobleskill for reports of a physical dispute with a weapon. Police say an investigation found Taylor entered the apartment at the location without permission and a verbal altercation ensued. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Police are investigating a crash on Interstate 44 in St. Louis County that led to a road rage incident involving an apparent exchange of gunfire Tuesday morning. St. Louis County Police say two drivers reportedly exchanged gun fire in the eastbound lanes of I-44 in St. Louis County near Bowles Avenue. It happened after a crash during the 8 a.m. hour. Police say there was a minor crash between a pickup truck and another driver. The two cars continued briefly for a moment before both pulled over along I-44. A child believed to be about 2 years old was found walking alone in the dark during the early morning hours in the Westlake area Tuesday. Police were called around 4:15 a.m. regarding a child wearing a white shirt who was wandering in the 400 block of Burlington Avenue. An investigation indicated the 2-year-old was found by a good Samaritan who stayed with the child until officers arrived, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.Video showed officers putting a sweater on the child, who appeared to be crying at times. The toddler was taken to a local police station while authorities worked to locate family members.
