‘The First Descendant’ set to launch this summer on consoles and PC In a trailer revealed at The Game Awards, Nexon has announced that it’s releasing “The First Descendant” in summer 2024. The four-player cooperative third-person shooter has built some buzz after its reveal and subsequent crossplay open beta on PC and consoles in September.Built on Unreal 5.2, the game puts players in the role of a Descendant who has to fend off the Vulgus, alien invaders who crossed dimensions and brought colossi and destruction to the continent of Ingris. The Descendants are essentially hero characters that each have their own abilities.
