A 47-year-old Colorado Springs snowboarder died at Breckenridge Resort on Tuesday following a “serious incident” on the mountain, according to resort officials.The man was taken to the resort’s Peak 8 first aid room after ski patrol responded to a “snowboarder incident” on an intermediate trail on Peak 7, Breckenridge officials said in a statement Thursday.The man was pronounced dead after receiving emergency care and evaluation at the first aid room.The resort did not provide further information about the incident, but Summit County Sheriff Jaime FitzSimons told the Summit Daily the man died after crashing into a tree.In a separate incident on Tuesday, a father and daughter skiing at Keystone Resort were injured in a hit-and-run crash with a ski biker.Get more Colorado news by signing up for our daily Your Morning Dozen email newsletter.Men’s basketball: No. 10 Arizona routs shorthanded CU Buffs

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Colorado men’s basketball team has enjoyed a solid start to the 2023-24 season despite playing a majority of its games shorthanded.Going into the toughest road game of the season on Thursday night, that didn’t change.The Buffaloes once again played without senior standout Tristan da Silva and talented freshman Cody Williams, both of whom once again were sidelined due to injury as CU visited No. 10 Arizona. (KRON) -- One westbound lane on the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge is blocked off Thursday night as crews work to repair a pothole. The closure has caused traffic to build up on the bridge. The right lane was closed at 3:07 p.m., according to Caltrans' traffic log. The roadway is estimated to reopen at 1 a.m. Drivers are advised to find alternate routes to reach their destination.
